JD powered up with an M.F.A. in Comics through California College of the Arts. He has passionately been devouring manga, comics, cartoons, anime and video games which has fueled the drawing and crafting his own wondrous worlds since childhood. Which means your vision is in exquisitely excellent hands while your notion plays in the ocean of his imagination.

Ample time is poured into planning and honing your idea so the ink slinging action exceeds your expectations. BEHIND THE SCENES
Every drawing Quixotic Ink Z produces is done traditionally by JD’s hand. His tools of trade are a Pilot G2 mechanical pencil with H4 leads, Sakura Pigma microns .005 ~ .08, Kuretake Mannen Mouhitsu brush pen, hi-polimer eraser, Gelly Roll 08 white pen and Pantel White-Out pen from Japan all rendered onto B4 Deleter Manga Paper or within a Croquis Maruman Premium Drawing Pad.
In order to offer the best digital quality, JD scans each page at 600 dpi. The file is then opened in GIMP at 300 dpi where the levels are adjusted to remove any linger pencil marks, securing only the darkest lines. Next, it’s opened in Clip Studio Paint where the coloring and lettering magic occurs.
You are guaranteed a personalized, one of a kind creation that was inspired by you. We will achieve this by beginning in as continuous communication as you desire. Before inking begins, however, you’ll get a chance to offer a few tweaks and suggestions ensuring the slung ink is not wasted.
Upon completion and commission fees rendered, you will receive a 300 dpi .png, .tif, and/or .jpeg without a water mark.
All original characters and intellectual property rights will remain yours unless otherwise negotiated.
